These unusual table mats from Indonesia are hand woven in delicate colors and are further interwoven with an indigenous root which, loosely translated, literally means ‘fragrant root’. It is this root that gives the table mats its wonderful aroma. All you need to do to revive the aroma is to moisten the mats slightly, roll them up and store them in a dark corner until they dry and you will be able to enjoy the lovely aroma again. This box set will make a lovely gift and will surely enhance any dining experience!.
